Mining Technologies International Inc. Consumables Division and its staff specialize in the manufacture of quality machined and fabricated products. Utilizing state of the art computer controlled manufacturing techniques, we manufacture to uncompromising standards. Mining Technologies International Inc. Consumables Division is ISO 9001 - 2000 certified. We own and control the DI Grand Master gauges and have developed our new MTI 315 thread for hard rock raise drill mining products. We have an assortment of other types of thread gauges and taper gauges.
As a general machine shop and/or fabricator, we manufacture a wide range of products dependant on our customers needs. Through our 50 plus years of manufacturing quality machined and fabricated product, we have specialized in mining related products. We are known in the Mining community as a “One-stop solution provider”. But, that is not all of what we do, we manufacture a wide array of products such as, shafts, gears, rings, weldments, etc. for a number other manufacturing sectors. We also provide specialty-machining services such as Deep Hole Boring/Trepanning, Cylindrical Grinding & Hard-surfacing application for our customers. Investing in the latest technology, our newest addition is a Mazak Integrex 650H2 x 160” Universal with Mazatrol Matrix Control and deep hole boring capability. The Integrex “Done-in-One” performance offers Y-axis off center machining, Continuous B-Axis positioning and single set-up machining for large & small parts. This combination machining center/turning center completes all operations in a single set-up whether turning, milling, boring, drilling, etc.
We stock only the best bar material. Our inventory includes Timken 4145 & Buderus 4330 series alloy bar in the forged, vacuum degassed, quench & tempered condition. In 2008, MTI was the fourth largest consumer of turbine/military grade 4330 series alloy bar. We also stock numerous grades of steel, alloy bar and tubing sizes. Plus, a wide range of steel plate types and sizes.
