Mining Technologies International (MTI) is currently seeking a Service Representative to provide mechanical support to our customers in Ontario and abroad. Under the direction of the Service Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of technical and mechanical service related to the underground mining equipment.

Note: This job requires driving / flying across the US border. Accordingly, it is a condition of employment that the selected candidate possess a driver’s license and record permitting travel across the US / Canadian border.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Licensed heavy duty equipment mechanic preferred.
• 3 years + experience in mechanical trade, with emphasis on drilling equipment, haulage equipment and underground scoops and trucks.
• knowledge of hydraulic systems
• knowledge of electrical systems (12/24 Volt)
• ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
• availability to travel internationally a must.
• ability to work under little supervision
• bilingualism an asset
• candidates must provide police and driver’s abstract before confirmation of employment
